Saving Mothers will be hosting a movie screening of A Walk to Beautiful, a 2009 Emmy Award-winning documentary about the lives of five Ethiopian women affected by obstetric fistula, a severe medical condition caused by failed childbirth. The condition, which causes women to leak urine and become incontinent, often leaves its victims ostracized in their communities.

Two of the documentary filmmakers will speak to us at the event; they will lead a short discussion and Q and A.
