All Weekend:

  • Barnard Theatre Department’s season begins this weekend with Top Girls.  This play by Carla Churchill runs Thursday-Saturday at 8pm, and Saturday at 3pm in the Minor Latham Playhouse, 118 Milbank Hall.  Tickets are only $5 with CUID.
  • CU Players is also starting their season off with the world premiere of Sarah Sander’s play Playgrounds.  The show runs Thursday-Saturday at 8pm in the Glicker-Milstein Black Box theatre, LL2 Diana Center.  Only $5 with CUID to see a world premiere!


  • Columbia Classical Player’s is having a Halloween concert/study break tonight in Lerner C555 at 7pm.  Come here some soothing music and eat candy, all for free.
  • The whole V-Day debacle is going to be discussed at the International Resource Center, 554 W. 114th St., in the 1st floor conference room.


  • Another world premiere that’s happening this weekend is Cage100 Party Pieces.  This piece brings together 125 different short compositions by 125 different composers.  You can catch this at Miller Theatre at 8pm for only $7 with CUID.


  • Friday night Columbia’s Black Theatre Ensemble presents Amateur Night.  Want to see just how talented your classmates are?  Stop by Lerner C555 from 7:30-9pm.  $4 with CUID!


  • Miller Theatre presents Combattimenti, as a part of their Early Music Series.  If you’re a fan of early French music, the group La Poeme Harmonique will be at Miller at 8pm for only $7 with CUID.
