@econ dutta vs elmes for intermediate microecon??
@omics elmes only if you’re a masochist. Heard good things about dutta though.
@someone who had a brief fling with econ It’s funny how Vogel isn’t even considered
@OMG NOT KNAPP Really, that class was REALLY BAD. NOnono.
@what What is wrong with you
@Math major, CC'12 Take anything algebraic (Modern Algebra sequence, Representations of Finite Groups, etc) with Robert Friedman. The man is a mathematical god and everyone who takes his class seriously comes out of it a better mathematician and a better person.
@BC '14 History – Anything with Gergely Baics. Amazing, engaging urban historian and also a cool guy.
Sociology – Global Urbanism with Saskia Sassen. This class will require more brainpower than any of your other classes, but it’s incredible and enlightening if you really get into it/are interested in global power structures, economic polarization, urban sustainability etc.
@Why did you change the Courses@CU link to Courses by ADI?
@seriously Chinese Foreign Policy is with no exceptions the worst class I took at Columbia. It’s an easy A but so mind-numbing and I honestly learned nothing
@Anonymous MOWSHOWITZ WILL CHANGE YOU.
@But so will anally receiving an equine penis.
@You're welcome Applied Statistical models in OR – Larry Wright
@Anonymous +1 Love Brian Boyd
@what about Mathematics: Making, Breaking Codes with Dorian Goldfeld
@nope its basically a math class for non-math majors; as a STEM major, I didn’t find it rigorous enough to be considered a hardcore math class
@also a senior History: Historical Origins of Human Rights, Sam Moyn
Religion: Exploring the Sharia, Najam Haider
@history TA Moyn is off to teach at Harvard Law after this semester, so no more of that.
@please do not take drug and behavior. Read Culpa.
@really? i had a great time in that class. took it after reading bwog, and while it isnt the easiest class it provided a whole new perspective on the issue.
@you must have forgotten …Foundations of American Lit I with Delbanco
@Anonymous Barbara Field’s class is a graduate class only! not for undergrads everyone weep
@senior do NOT take edlund’s gender class. just, no.
@Hmm The methodology behind this survey must be incredible
@anonf Seriously don’t take advanced programming if you are not a cs major/minor you will die
@H also i found the professor to be a mediocre lecturer at best. you learn a lot from the assignments though.
@H but contact improv with colleen is the best!!!!! and so is tessa chandler!(now everyone can probably guess who this is….)
