@yes #7 i agree, i agree…why are they spending all this money on hiphop acts. i feel as if .2% of the student body actually cares…as can be seen by the # of people watching,

@everyone likes rap music There are three kinds of people in this world: 1) people who know what philistine means but don’t really care because it’s a stupid word, 2)people who don’t know what philistine means, 2) assholes who actually use the word philistine.
@mmm, no That’s a bit too categorical. There are perfectly appropriate times to use the word “philistine.” But I agree with you that assuming that anyone who likes some rap music a philistine is stupid and ridiculous.

@Stephen This concert was for a dance off. The music fits the dancing, it doesn’t really make sense to invite the Unicorns to a dance-off just to please the oh so discerning indie rock crowd.
@bwog heard the same from two sources, one of whom works for cuconcerts (or whatever it’s called that brings acts to school)
@ummmm Ya my hearsay came from the same place, and it too said it was a gangsta gangsta, but not the same gangsta. The gangsta that I heard was supposedly coming from Wu-Tang Klan as opposed to G-Unit.
@well if you’re thinking about ghostface, I think he’s rumored to be playing the spring concert later this month. this is different.
