@shira whatever, john munson’s first band, trip shakespeare, was awesome as hell. I wish the new standards would play in minneapolis more often.
@Well As banal as The Suburbs were – especially compared to their Minnseapolis compatriots – I think it’s a fair generic label. “New wave cred” after all doesn’t really exist; and if it does, it most certainly doesn’t play well with the kids.
