After days of fiery backlash to Facebook’s Big Brother-esque changes, Mark Zuckerberg has caved into popular demand and reversed many of the new features. Or, almost. In an apologetic open letter posted on the site, he announced changes which will hopefully assuage much of the upset over privacy issues.
Zuckerberg promises a new privacy page which “will allow you to choose which types of stories go into your Mini-Feed and your friends’ News Feeds” and also lists “the type of actions Facebook will never let any other person know about.”
So, you can come out of hiding, rejoin Facebook, dismantle the protest groups. Bwog rejoices with the (near) restoration of the old Facebook. Hopefully.
