freaks and geeksThursday-Sunday

The Whitney Museum has a “comprehensive” collection of Georgia O’Keefe artwork on display all weekend, including a portrait series of the artist who didn’t paint unmentionablesThursday-Sunday @ Whitney Museum.

Delicatessan has sprouted a sister restaurant.  Macbar won’t service your Apple laptop but serves all kids of “dressed macaroni,” including concoctions involving duck and lobster.  Friday & Saturday 11AM-2PM, Sunday 11AM-11PM @ 54 Prince Street.

Friday

Nerd Nite Nerdtacular.  Need we say more?  8:00 PM @ Galapagos Art Space, Brooklyn.

Naked, an exhibition of nakedness and nudity.  Apparently they keep the men in the back.  Don’t worry; it’s just pictures.  10:00 AM – 5:00 PM @ Paul Kasmin Gallery.

Saturday

Levels of Nothingness.  It’s not Lerner; it’s an art installation.  An actress will read about depressing subjects and a computer will interpret the sound and automagically control a full rock concert lights set.  Oh, and it’s hands-on.  7:30 PM @ Guggenheim Museum.

Sunday

The Science Farmers’ Market is every Sunday all summer.  Check it out if you haven’t had the chance and find not only your fruits and vegetables but all the information you could ever want on where your food came from.  10:00 AM – 4:00 PM @ New York Hall of Science.
