Not one, not two, but three different opportunities for free food tonight! First, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is offering free pizza at their first general body meeting tonight at 9 in the Lerner Cinema. They’re calling all members, interested parties, and even those just want to “grab free pizza,” cholesterol levels and heart conditions be damned.
Second, Turath, the undergraduate Arab American organization, is also offering “nourishing refreshments” at their first meeting tonight at 10 in Lerner (503 Board Room). They haven’t specified exactly what these “refreshments” will be, but they encourage all those interested in catching up, sharing stories, and planning events for this semester to come.
Last but not least, the Bhakti club will have another installment of its free weekly vegetarian cooking classes, at 7 in the Broadway Room (2nd Floor) in Lerner Lerner Party Space.
Finally, a bonus dose of free for first-years: the esteemed brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon are also hosting a live standup show tonight at 8 in the Roone Arlege Auditorium featuring alum Steve Hofstetter (of National Lampoon Sports Radio fame). Doors open at 7:15 — admission is free for freshmen and $5 for everyone else.
