Assistant Professor Randall Reback will speak about the economics of education, followed by a short Q & A session. Refreshments will be served.

SPEAKER BIO: Randall Reback is an Assistant Professor at Barnard College, a Faculty Fellow at Columbia University’s Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy, and an Honorary Assistant Professor at Teachers College. He is an outstanding expert in the economics of education. He has written extensively on matters of school accountability, local public finance of education, school choice, teacher labor markets, and ability segregation across schools, among other topics. He is a member of the American Economic Association, American Education Finance Association, American Education Research Association, Society for Labor Economists, and many other organizations.
