  • CCSC continued discussions about the tobacco workgroup, new student spaces in Broadway and Schapiro, and an undergraduate lecture series. The recent student space survey revealed that many students would prefer that these spaces be given to group meetings. CCSC President Sue Yang told Bwog that the council hopes to pass resolutions on several of these topics at their last meeting of the semester next week.
  • ESC has two slots open: 2011 Class Rep Epsita Hope will not be on campus next semester, while Academic Affairs Representative Mike Wymbs claimed “”wasn’t feeling ESC, according to council sources. ESC will solicit applications for the positions.
  • According to ESC, the planned vending machines for Butler might arrive as early as finals.
  • Barnard President Debora Spar visited SGA last night, discussing Barnard identity, rankings, and international students. As for rumors about a required meal plan next year, SGA sources told Bwog that the opening of the Diana has precipitated a new negotiation of meal contracts between Aramark and Barnard, but negotiations are still ongoing.
