Breakthrough Collaborative is a nation-wide not-for-profit with a twofold mission:

  1. Empowering under-resourced, high-potential middle school students in their dream of college graduation.
  2. Enlightening college students about careers in education.

Breakthrough does this by running academically-intense summer programs in 29 different cities for middle-school students. Their teachers are YOU, a select group of college students looking to positively impact local communities throughout the United States and in Hong Kong.

There are two information sessions for Breakthrough right here at Columbia!

  1. February 1, 2010 at 9pm in 511 Hamilton Hall
  2. February 17, 2010 at 10 pm in 303 Hamilton Hall

You’ll meet various Breakthrough teachers with experiences in Breakthrough that span SEVEN YEARS and THE ENTIRE COUNTRY.
