99 Columbians Photography Exhibition
Written by Bwog Staff
99 Columbians is a never-before-seen art endeavor that uses photography to reach individuals from across the Columbia University community and encourage them to think about the individual identities of their peers here at the university and see a greater cross-section of different students from all the different schools. More specifically, it aims to blur a few labels by creating a space in which people can look past the boundaries set by race, gender, sexuality, religion, major, and school.
Please join us for two exhibitions in the next two weeks; a sophisticated photography exhibit on April the 9th, and an interactive collage on Low Plaza on April the 12th. On April the 9th, ninety-nine 12×18 prints that feature the best of the 99Columbians project will be hung from wires in Lerner Hall C555 from 12 – 4pm. Guests will be encouraged to make their route and view all of the photographs and interact with the participants of the project, its founders, and enjoy some light refreshments.
