*Bwogger Anish Bramhandkar found this mysterious board in Lerner yesterday:*

Points to anyone who can guess what this hodgepodge of math, physics, and almost biology means.

random equations that look pretty to the writer.

- kinematics equation

- equation of a line

- simple integral equation from 0 to infinity

- sine curve

e^(pi*i) = -1 is always spectacular.

I don't think there's an actual connection, to be honest. I might be wrong :/

to KSA's culture show this weekend.

The Korean Wave refers to the KSA culture show Friday. Theme's the wave.

Heard it's going to be interesting, the performers are a bit different than CSC's Lunar Gala and AAA's Culture Shock. (read: traditionally LG is the best one, but we'll see)

-3rd degree polynomial

-velocity = initial velocity + acceleration * time

- e^pi*i = 1, something in ODE

-integral

-sin curve

e^(pi*i) is not ODE, it's Euler's formula (cos(pi)+isin(pi)=-1+i*0=-1)

Which just gives further evidence that this is probably advertising...writing random facts that look smart on a board...makes sense to me.

i understood everything i wrote on that board!

Euler has so many formulas...

i'd end up on bwog like this.

but yes, it's for the ksa culture show this friday.

Yess!! I understood everything. =)

woopty-fucking-doo, you passed algebra 1. proud of yourself?

e ..o (get real)

i .. o (shut up and go back to your compound. fucking transcendentalist)

pi .. o (i heard that you two faced son of a bitch, why don't you just go square youself)

-1 .. o (i fucking hate these irrational assholes)

HUH?

I was the top of my class in high school and my parents are astrophysicists but I'm confused

Hence "BC '10"

ooooh snap!

I was the top of the top of your class in high school and everyone in my family is an astrophysicist, so I understand it just fine.
