Time is running out! While Senior Wisdom is imminent, we thought we’d also give out some advice as well as receive it. Bwog presents hyperlinks and highly recommends getting these under your belt before you leave. Who ever heard of a War on Fun?
- Visit every roof
- Explore the tunnels
- Take the public safety shuttle
- Get CAVAed
- Hook up with a TA
- Do a touristy NY thing
- Camp out for a night on the lawns
- Have sex in Butler
- Go downtown
- Eat a Crack Del spicy special
- Pass the swim test
- Find the Alma Mater owl
- Finally hang out with the people you’ve been making fake plans with for four years
- Watch the sun set over Riverside Park
- And/or watch the sun set from a roof or the Schapiro sky lounge
- Graduate

@haha at first I thought it was absurd to have “Go downtown” as an item on the bucket list.. but it’s so true for some people

@Old Fart A bit outdated, no? Casbah was closed by the time the current seniors were sophomores. No current undergrads have ever seen a real 40’s on 40. Last Hot Jazz at the ADP house was Spring ’07 I believe. Old Yankee Stadium and Shea are piles of rubble.
The writer was class of ’08, hence the AIM reference as well.
And yes, things were always better in the olden days.
@Joy Haha, we’ve published updated lists since then, in attempt to roll with the times. Buuuuuut the more recent versions are mysteriously (ironically?) not online. Um. Yeah. Stop by the office if you want the most recent one?
And, Bwog: your senior bucket list. Thanks. This, in conjunction with the “20 Days” marker, may or may not have made me shed a tear.
@Anonymous Done almost all of them, but I can handle liquor and have a gf that beats any TA I have had so far.
@grr I’ve done all of this except for graduating and getting CAVAed. Favorite: hooking up with a TA. (actually 2)

@So true... A lot of students don’t take advantage of Riverside Park. In my opinion, that truly is the best place to watch a New York sunset.
