With Harry and the Potters on campus last weekend, and Halloween just around the corner, all manner of witchcraft and wizardry has cropped up around campus. This time it takes the form of multimedia pun.

@Anonymous Has Columbia always been this crazy about Harry Potter and I was just missing the signs, or is it because of the approaching movie?

    Either way, it’s welcomed greatly.

@Anonymous Ever since BWOG publicized the secret passage to Diagon Alley (http://bwog.com/2010/10/02/conceited-concrete/) , Columbia muggles have been going nuts for Potter culture.

On a tangentially related note, a buddy from Brown relayed a hilarious story to me the other day. Supposedly Emma Watson answered a question incorrectly in a very large lecture. After the professor told her she was wrong, someone in the class stood up and yelled “50 points from Gryffindor!!”
PRICELESS. You can’t write that shit..
