The over-priced but much-revered eatery is not open for business today! When asked, those inside deferred to this sign on the door. When Bwog called for comment they hung up on us. Womp. Perhaps the Commisioner of Health and Mental Hygiene was seeking retribution after the Pizza Days price hike. At least the weather’s nice, so the walk to Absolute won’t be that bad.

@Anonymous DOHMH= NYC
DOH=NY state
just saying.
@hannah if you look back at the “morningside heights is a den of filth” post from june, nussbaum had 23 points for mice last june. the DOH has been doing follow-up health inspections recently, which is how john jay’s violations went down, for instance. anyway, nussbaum is not currently listed on the DOH website, which is strange and possibly concerning
@malcolm The ways of the DOH are perverse and often baffling.
@... they’re listed as “nusbaum”
@John Jay is next http://a816-restaurantinspection.nyc.gov/RestaurantInspection/SearchDetails.do
@Hmm My standard for “is this restaurant edible?” is if I’ve gotten sick off their food. Nussbaum = Pass
Pinnacle = Fail
@Anonymous Dr. Farley! there’s a Farley here? they are everywhere!
@lol “The oft forgotten Wu”! hahaha
we could save so many syllables by calling it Wu and not Nussbaum. Well, one per mention, but those syllables pile up.
@G “Bwog wonders what sort of revolting breaches of mental hygiene could have brought on this tragedy”
Bahahahahhaahahahaahahha rofl.
