Read about the shockingly sincere history of Barnard’s Greek Games, an interview with the renowned physicist Brian Greene, and forthcoming is a a harrowing (and fictional) account of the muscles that guard the cheeses at Westside. Every month we try to capture a somewhat droll snapshot of life on campus in our Postcard from Morningside. This month, it’s all about the cranial fashion!

@Really?? I thought the “shockingly sincere” line was actually a compliment, personally. I mean, you’d think the history of the games would be kinda geeky and precious. But it’s sincere–so sincere that it’s shocking.
Maybe if you didn’t walk around with a chip on your shoulder, everything wouldn’t look like snark to you.
@now hold up. “shockingly sincere history of Barnard’s Greek Games”— i don’t get what about introducing magazine contents demands a pointed sarcastic joke. in fact, i’m not even sure what this joke is supposed to be referring to, suggesting to me that it’s just gratuitous snark. haven’t you been claiming to rise above, if not counter, all that gratuitous Barnard hate on your website (e.g., comment threads)? not to mention shed your reputation as the publication on campus that is fundamentally mean-spirited?
