- Jill S. Shapiro, lecturer, (3EB).
We’ve compiled a lot of useful information about Commencement on the right-hand sidebar, as well as various tools for “aiding” the last of your cramming. We’re almost there guys!

@Anonymous “3 undergraduate schools,” sorry barnard!
@wow “Tony Kushner, playwright, speaks at the School of the Arts Celebration of Graduates, 2:00 p.m., May 18, Miller Theatre, Morningside Heights campus”
Well, I hope he’s getting an honorary degree!
@CC'11 Harvard – Amy Poehler / Liberian President
Yale – Tom Hanks
Princeton – Michael Bloomberg / Brooke Shields
Dartmouth – Conan O’Brien
.
.
.
Columbia – a (one of many) vice-presidents at NBC news…?….
One of these are different than the others.
@CC'13 yeah…at least one of us is smart enough to want substance over flash
(though the liberian president is pretty cool)
@SEAS'11 Let’s be honest, it is highly unlikely that the “substance” of the commencement addresses will actually have a significant impact on our lives. The real issue is whether or not we listen to someone who is entertaining or someone we can brag about to our friends in 5 years.
And on an unrelated sidenote, most of the people on that list have both substance and flash
@Jss well deserved award to shapiro!!!
@RAKorb is amazing!
@My god our speaker sucks.
@hate to sound lame but that photo’s making me get all misty-eyed
