With 600 votes and over 50% of the vote, Deantini is the winning nickname for Columbia College Dean Valentini!
So that Deantini can uphold his end of the bargain, we request that winning commenter (this comment!!) contact us at editors@bwog.com. Will the real nicknamer please stand up?

@Anonymous psh shoulda been “james dean”
@Home Bartender Obviously, the more important question is what are the INGREDIENTS of a Deantini?
Assuming that the former Campo or The Heights doesn’t jump on the bandwagon first, and create some probably half-inspired version of a Deantini, allow me to propose my own humble version, inspired by my experiences with Deantini as my former General Chemistry Professor.
The Deantini: A drink to be consumed in the interim, when one does not know how long it will be until the next drink will be available.
2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
1 teaspoon Glucose (granulated sugar)
2 dashes citric acid (lemon juice)
Add the above ingredients in a mixing glass and shake vigorously with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass chilled by CO2(s) (dry ice).
Please enjoy your Deantini’s responsibly!
@Anonymous Granulated sugar is sucrose, not glucose.
Lemon juice is, according to Wikipedia, only 5%~6% citric acid.
@He said that he took gen chem, not that he passed it.
@Anonymous wait, how do you know who the commenter was?
@Um One way I could think of is to tell the claimant to comment some code word below his first submission on that post, and then use the Track feature to verify that it’s from the same person.
@Anonymous doesn’t that just track IP address (which changes/can be shared)? Seriously, Bwog, what’s your plan on this one?
@MY UMBRAGE IT IS INEXPRESSIBLY POTENT.
@Alex Trebeck Potent? Like a potent potable?!? Like a….DEANTINI?!?!?!?!?!?
@I demand a re-vote! anyone? anyone? re-vote? anyone?
