Chronicles of Existentialism: Identity Crisis

Written by

“The greatest hazard of all, losing one’s self, can occur very quietly in the world, as if it were nothing at all. No other loss can occur so quietly; any other loss – an arm, a leg, five dollars, a wife, etc. – is sure to be noticed.”

Søren Kierkegaard

Pasta for some reason falls under the "fried foods" at Westside.

This photograph is not an image of 'existentialism'; this photograph is an image of REAL consumer life. Don't try to step back and 'philosophize' the logic behind all the evident contradictions (e.g. "pasta under 'fried foods' section" -oh my!). THIS is the complete clusterfuck that is your modern day American supermarket where all your food is delivered and prepared for your democratic choosing. Let's talk about the logic of this 'rational' system.

is a fig newman? i swear those gloriously fruity confections that filled my childhood with edible joy were ordained by God specifically as Fig Newtons. This is blasphemy.
