Note: Sky is not falling

In case you’ve decided to live under a rock for the past twenty-four hours and failed to read the post below, the New York Giants won the Superbowl! In light of this supreme victory, Bloomberg decided to host a victory ceremony and ticker tape parade for the team tomorrow, February 7th. Why? According to Bloomberg, “Big Blue gave us a game to remember, and on Tuesday we’re going to give them a parade to remember.”

But, before Bwog could get all sentimental about the whole thing, Public Safety gave us a heads up on all the crossing changes that will occur tomorrow:

Time:
The parade will start at 1100 hours.

Route:
-East on Battery Pl to Broadway
-North on Broadway to Worth
-Turn E/B on Worth to Lafayette
– S/B on Lafayette to Chambers
– End at Chambers & Centre St.

Pedestrian Crossings:
A) Battery Place & west St. (E/S Split)
B) Broadway/ Exchange Alley (E/B)
C) Broadway/ Wall St. (with chute to Rector St W/B only)

E) Broadway/ Cortland St./ Maiden Lane
F) Broadway/ Fulton St.
G) Broadway/Leonard St.

Handicapped viewing:

Customs House Plaza at Bowling Green.

Expect street and sidewalk closures to begin at approximately 0600 hrs. As crowds form, multiple closures will take effect. Advise employees that ID will be required to gain access to various buildings along the parade route. Longer than usual commuting time should be taken into account.
As the day and event progress LMSI will update accordingly.
