You Might Want to Take a Shower Tonight

Written by

Update, 12:36 am: Facilities just sent out an email to the effect that there will be no heat in Wien tomorrow from 9 am to 1 pm. Don’t worry though! There’s “no immediate threat.” Full email after the jump.

Because there’s a chance you won’t be able to tomorrow, unless you prefer strutting across campus in naught but a towel. Hamilton experienced an outage a few days ago, and Watt was left out to dry this morning. Something must bein the water.

The poster below is specific to Watt, but it has been spotted in McBain and Ruggles.

CUF Residential Operations is scheduled to shut down building heat to Wien Hall on Thursday 2/16 to address a leak within the electrical switchgear room.  Only building heat will be affected.  The current forcast for Thursday 2/16 calls for mid-40’s and rain (seasonably warm and well above freezing).  The shutdown duration poses no immediate impact to building utilities, residential floors or administrative spaces.

In Wien, I consider myself lucky when I can get hot water between the hours of ~1am and ~7am. Every night.

  2. Confused

Is this Wein or Watt or both?
