@Anonymous They were doing this stuff over spring break…
@Um The ornament (called a “finial” in architectural parlance) was replaced over spring break already – both that one and the Columbia Crown one have been replaced by larger, shinier ones. This person’s probably checking out the loops on the top of the pole to make sure that they’re ready for flag hoists.
