Winston Churchill once said, “I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly.” Bwog 3.0 is live, and it’s not completely inaccurate to say that we’ll be the same irreverent, vaguely socially relevant Bwog that you know and love. Of course, we’ve matured (pronounce that one with the hard “t”). Get ready for a more active comment banhammer, fewer CSS errors, and Comic Sans for the trolls. That said, we promise our daily editors will still accidentally cut and paste bulleted lists from Word, we’ll leave spam-eating-squirrel easter eggs in our code, and we’ll dedicate our lives to uncovering specsucks using hardcore open-source CIA software. Keep it real, internet.
<3,
It’s Bwog, not B.W.O.G. Though suggestions for a badass metaphor are always welcome.

@Things I Miss 5. the ability to hard return within a comment
@this is all but too white.
@Anonymous A better troll than I would come up with a great tirade about white privilege right now.
@Anonymous Even more reason to just use the RSS feed.
relevant captcha: tamlyM annoyed
@Anonymous Sans serif makes bwog look silly.
@Anonymous WE GOTTA HAVE MORE SERIF, FELLAS.
@Anonymous Comics sans on the other hand would make it look professional.
@Anonymous I’m not even going to try to be constructive. I just hate it.
@Anonymous Has the captcha reply bug been fixed?
@Anonymous also, i don’t like the boxes around individual comments.
@Anonymous Nope.
Different paint, same shit.
@a person who does CSS You should really include a dark theme option for those who miss old!Bwog’s deep blues.
@Anonymous Maybe someone CS can use bwog’s google cache to make a greasemonkey script?
@Anonymous For anyone actually willing to do it, the old site is http://www.morningside.bwog.com
@Anonymous Seriously. I feel like I’m staring into the sun over here.
@Anonymous This. this is not late night procrastination foddersite
@Anonymous I’m a big whitespace fan, Bwog, but throw some more dividing lines on this bitch, please.
@stop bitching thanks for the redesign, bwog
@grammar police 3.0 “fewer” CSS errors
@Anonymous When I upvote/downvote a comment, that comment jumps to the top.
I don’t like it.
@a speccie i think the new design is actually a little refreshing, even if it isn’t perfect
@Anonymous The fact that this comment is in troll comic sans when it’s an actual complement speaks volumes about this redesign.
@Anonymouse …or about Bwog commenters/comment voters? I’d imagine it’s dependent on upvotes/downvotes.
@Anonymous Not lovin’ it, to be honest. All the text looks the same. Let’s get some more differentiation between the headlines, the actual body, and the miscellaneous junk like the comments and date.
@God, it’s so clichéd to say that a redesign is horrific, but . . . yeah, this looks like a Powerpoint template circa Windows 2000.
@o.O W.T.F.?.!.
@Goosey What is up with the text on the right sidebar? It looks terrible…
@Fashionably late Figures!
