According to an eyewitness, another food truck standoff took place today a little but after noon. The tipster reports that Kimchi Taco, a Korean-Mexican fusion food truck, was giving out free food to a large line of people midway down the block between 113th and 114th along Broadway. Apparently after about 15 minutes, the owners of the halal carts on either corner of the block pushed their respective carts in front of the Kimchi Taco truck to block the line of customers, and told the Kimchi Taco owners of the truck to leave. Eventually an employee of Columbia told the halal cart owners to move away or she would call Public Safety; after 5 or so minutes of more arguing, they obliged.
