Somewhat Of A Snow Day For Barnard

Written by

THIS IS COMING

THIS IS COMING

Due to the snowstorm approaching (a.k.a. either a light dusting of snow or a full-blown Snowpocalypse), Barnard is closing at 4 p.m. today for “non-essential personnel.” That means that Friday evening classes and weekend classes are cancelled — as if you were gonna go to your weekend classes tomorrow anyway — but events such as the Athena Film Festival are continuing as planned. In case things turn for the more dramatic, though, keep checking at their website for more information. And as usual, there’s something about gates being closed at entrances where you never even knew gates existed. Don’t get trapped! And buy your soup and hot chocolate and whiskey now, before the lines start forming.

i was just at liz's place, don't worry everyone, the staff are still there. They're pretty much essential.

  2. Can we get Van Owen on this?

It's been too long. Come back.
