5 CommentsA taxi hit a FedEx truck outside Lerner on Broadway this afternoon. FDNY appear to be at the scene. There is no information yet regarding the event, but Bwog hopes nobody was hurt.
Update: A witness reports that a student was injured in the crash and taken to St. Luke’s. If you have any other info about what happened, email tips@bwog.com.

@Anonymous I believe the hero was the young chef who works for Columbia catering. He was seriously injured. Let’s wish him a speedy recovery.
@Anonymous Somebody was hurt trying to save someone as the accident occurred. I arrived after the accident but there was a girl sitting in the bench outside of Lerner crying and saying,”He saved me. It could’ve been me.” It sounded as if though they didn’t know each other. It was heroic; I hope he’s okay.
