Usually when Columbia students propose sex in the But, it’s a joke. However, Coco Young (apparently a Columbia student) and Karley Sciortino (who runs Slutever) have just released a new (very NSFW) video for Purple Television featuring models and a current Barnard student that “explores the rituals of American Ivy League secret societies, to the point of hysteria, highlighting our culture’s perception of female desire.”
Click this link to see “Initiation” in all of its weirdness.
When talking to the Observer, Coco Young said, “We wanted to provide a critique on the institution and society, in general.” She went on to say that they “chose to film this in Butler because there are all-male names written on the wall of the library. It is a politically strong place.”

@GS/Barnard get out
@Anonymous I’m not sure if I can masturbate to this but I’m damned sure going to try.
@John Hancock Is there a drinking game for this yet?
@Anonymous Smile! We are on 4chan!
Majority of these comments are from basement trolls:

@Anonymous don’t see what the big deal is
it was an interesting statement, and especially the comment on gender tension here. academically, women are looked at as equal, but as a woman here, sometime i feel like socially, men dominate the interactions. since there are more women, men hold the power of how they want to treat women.
@MusicAppreciator What was the song?
@Confusedmemberofseas2018 it’s a shame I didn’t see this before writing that Why Columbia essay.
@Sara ABSURD IS THE WORD HAVE YOU HEARD?
@soooo I have this disciplinary hearing about marijuana use coming up, if I tell them that I’m a rapist, do you think they’ll sweep it under the rug? Also I watched it, not as bad as miley cyrus twerking, but still bad.
@the most wicked of the species When women are left alone to collude, hysteria ensues. First the Salem Witch Trials, now this.
@Jaded Graduate Student Jesus Christ, Columbia! I love you, but you guys got to get out of your Ivy League bubble! I went to a SUNY school for undergrad and we had incidents like the “Phantom Pooper” where somebody went around going number two in all the top loading washers! This is not that bad, in fact very mild compared to films like “Interior Semiotics” (if you don’t know it, YouTube it) Hell, we’ve had some very violent as well as highly publicized murders and suicides on the Columbia campus in the past thirty years, and students are butthurt over this?
The only thing shameful about this “porno” is the FinalCutPro editing and crap acting. God forbid these young ladies are going for BFAs.
@Anonymous Welp, looks like this story has already reached beyond Columbia. I’ve seen this posted on gothamist and a couple other websites today with the general public responding along the lines of “wtf columbia”. If nothing else, this is proof that a couple idiot hipster girls can make a whole community look like idiots.
@nolongercurious2ndyear Not much art or feminism going on here. Just a few young women trying to take college hijinks to the next level with mixed results. If this is what passes for hazing at Columbia these days, things could be worse. Ladies, one thing, less rib and more muscle tone as a few of you are borderline unhealthy. Other than that, carry on . . .
@Arthur W @Anonymous: Sorry if the message sounded odd but is there anyone else who has an explanation or interpretation of what they are doing.
I can offer an explanation for what they are doing , the meaning behind the symbolism (the few words I elaborated upon earlier were not meant to be understood by you but by the author(s) of this “dance”, so if you found it odd or incomprehensible then its understandable ).
Can you offer your interpretation of the symbols in this dance? Can you explain why she is wearing that blue t shirt? or why they place a purple rubber chicken in the middle of the table? or why they are dragging that girl through the hallway ? or why they are putting egg yolk in the hair ? or why they are playfully whipping one another ? or why they are riding one another like one rides a horse ? or why they are taking off their cloths ? and why they are kissing one another ? or why they staged it in butler and not elsewhere? Oh well maybe explaining that is going to take a long long time. I just wrote this so that people who are being judgmental and cruel towards these girls stop doing that.
BTW thank you brave and beautiful girls. I pray that you never have to worry about a thing in your life , that you forever remain free and beautiful and youthful and love and engage in kindness towards all. You girls are going to become CEOs of successful companies because you are even more vivacious, full of life, laughter and joy than Marissa Mayer. I quake with fear when I see you put yourself on the line like this but thanks for your generosity and I certainly hope the world is SAFE enough for people to take expressive, artistic risks. Just please study hard, do well in your studies, go to graduate schools and learn things of importance and make the world a place for love and freedom and joy.
@so you want to sleep with them or something?
@Arthur W Ok so I know it sounds selfish since I seem to be in the minority here and supporting 4 topless girls (and it is easy to support topless good looking ladies right?)… but perhaps I see meaning in the strange dance they are orchestrating? maybe?
The idea is not to promote anything improper or injurious. If the girls are doing anything improper then they ought to be censured but it does not look like they did anything wrong (at least not to me but maybe I am innocent in which case I would like to understand without losing my innocence).
The idea is to promote free expression and the “au natural” look because it promotes health and an effort on behalf of everyone to look and feel their best. That is why we have nude beaches in modern, western culture, right ? I bet a lot of people are still upset with nude beaches but we want to promote nudity and play (frivolity, fun, joy etc.) Is that wrong ?
We promote brief attire and free attire because we would like people to take care of their health and their diet and their lifestyle so they look forward to shedding their cloths for all to admire. We ought to be then promoting the au natural look because it discourages acts of violence. This is because it is hard to maintain a beautiful , marble white skin and a slim figure if people are engaged in any harmful or injurious acts. Right ? Does it make sense now why I supported them and liked their choreography?
If you want to seriously discourage violence in a society you encourage the people to wear polished and paint their nails and wear their hair long and blonde and their skin flawless. It is very difficult to hurt others when we maintain a fragile , comely , fair look. Would you agree?
We would like education to be a fun, frolic through the libraries – happiness, love, laughter and learning. Granted they are not promoting learning but there are books in the background, right? so maybe its ok to support these beleaguered girls. Of course if we are wrong then may we be enlightened, rightly guided and forgiven.
@Old alum I am shocked that people are shocked by this. There have been feminists doing these sorts of things since the 1960’s. Just think, the grandmothers of current Columbia Students may have participated.
@Debby What the ¿¿¿¿ they mother think about them and they the future of tomorrow……..scary
@ArthurW Oh by the way I get the number 7 on the backs of the ladies and dragging the women through the hallways.
I love you I love you and I love you… there are no words to describe how flattered and pleased I am. What can I do for you ? Just ask and I will do my best.
@ArthurW No one else has to feel offended.
This was not “research” or an attempt to say something deep. This was meant for my viewing pleasure perhaps.
I love Butler and I love nudity and I love bathing myself in milk and I love blue haired girls and naked women.
And I am blue, as blue as the moon and bluer than that moon.
And they made it because they love me and I adore them. For them I will reshape the worlds, and make all things good, for the sake of these women I will end disease and end suffering and make the hot infertile deserts as green as the lands of Europe. I was planning on doing that anyways but I will do this too for them.
Columbia has great minds and great research and it will always remain a great school that allows this sort of free expression. Please don’t let your insecurities get in the way. It will take a lot more than this act of love at a library I love for any taint to come upon my nourishing mother (also my alma mater).
These girls have taken a risk by exposing themselves in front of a judgmental and prudish world. Don’t let your unkindness show please. Forgive them and show them better ways of expressing their love.
p.s. they got many things right but they did not get the lesbian kissing scene wrong perhaps… it is preferable that women share their love with us broken, hungry, thirsty men who live in this world for the sake of their love.
@Anonymous what the fuck are you on, kid
@ArthurW I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE columbia U.
I used to love studying at butler and may God and goodness and everything bless bless bless these wonderful beautiful girls! Bless them! glory and honor and love and success to those who love so… may these ways prosper and propagate and all become so fair and comely
@jay i swear ***** bitches be wylin
@K They’re technically weren’t nude…. but I do admit that this was a bit of a shocker. I only wished that their art was clearer–I lost and disturbed the whole time.
I admire the bravery. Next time, I just hope that the fearlessness results in a more cohesive piece.
@Anonymous Closest thing to “I’m Shmacked” at Golumbia.
Thank you to the international/urban girls for hyping shit up.

@uhh what kind of porn do you watch…?
@Anonymous Don’t people do this in Brown like every day?..
@CC 16 This is the first time I’ve ever read bwog comments.
My friend told me about some columbia feminist porn, so of course i had to check that out. Google news searched “Columbia” and clicked this article http://gothamist.com/2014/02/03/video_naked_columbia_co-eds_writhe.php
It referenced a comment on bwog (“I find this difficult to masturbate to” which is spot on by the way) and linked to it. I’d never read bwog comments before (or much bwog in general) but I was curious what my fellow Columbians had to say about the video (which I found mildly disturbing).
As I am reading through these comments, I cant help but feeing slightly embarrassed to call myself a student of Columbia College.
Have some self-respect, people. You represent your school when you comment on bwog, and your school reflects on you because you chose to come here!
@Anonymous Obvious troll is obvious
@Not judging, but... It’s jarring to see someone in class, and then, BAM, there are her boobs.
@double ivy alum what is everyone getting bent out of shape about? regardless of what everyone thinks of the video (it is all a matter of taste), and yes they may have offended some people, but so what. the only problem i see is that they violated rules that are set up about what can and cannot be done without prior permission. and to justify the film (break a rule) even if it is a lesser offence than rape is irrelevant and immaterial. they will likely get a spanking from CU but being twisted or having an opinion that we do not agree with does not mean that they should be outright expelled. hurting your feelings is not the issue. being offensive is also not the grounds for expulsion.
@Mindy Kaling Honestly, my biggest concern is that these girls look unhealthy. Like, I think we should all be worried for their wellbeing. lol.
@CRAZY wait Mindy Kaling 4real???
@SEAS '13 This video is the definition of trying too hard.
@Davo Ahhhhh…GAWD…NO! A female breast….breasts! And nipples. Ahhhhh, it’s the end of society! Why? WHYYYYYYY?
@Anonymous i think this is what zbt got kicked out for
@PLEASE HELP!!! someone PLEASE help!!! these girls are dying of starvation!!! deliver them some burgers STAT!!!! save the children!!!!
@Arsene Wenger /barnard/ edition Hi I’m a Barnard visual arts major. I only wear clothes that are white and my “free range” eggs and I think everything is an out-dated concept. I also brag incessantly at how me and my friends make “dangerous” art projects in butler and how Public Security are SUCH ASSHOLES, despite the fact that they’ll probably be the ones cleaning up all my mucus once I’m done wailing. I will also waste half of your time in Butler by screeching and loudly advertising my art project, Qudsexuals for greater freedom, (I’m straight and white by the way), where I will amaze you at how many times I can say “patriarchy” in a single sentence. And to cap it all off, my tits and ass aren’t even that good, but it’s OK, because all CU men are fratty bros and I don’t need them anyway
@gooner 4 lyfe @Arsene Wenger /barnard/ edition:
FUQ DA PATRIARKY wooooooooooo ugly titties
@Anonymous CC/SEAS kids are the only Ivy caliber students at this university. The rest are cash cow programs. I only know 1 smart GS student from my 3 years here. Columbia gives someone who didn’t have the opportunity for a traditional education a second chance, and this is what they do with it. Shame on them.
@Anonymous Yikes you sound like an asshole…
Maybe you should separate yourself from this institution instead of others from you…Are there any islands you can ship yourself and other horrible bigots and morons to so you can all hate each other without bringing it on the rest of us? We will all wave a tearful goodbye!
@devil's advocate A lot of people would argue that CC is the only Ivy caliber institution, because SEAS lowers our scores significantly.
@Anonymous you’re joking, right? For the past twenty years, SEAS has had higher SAT scores and higher high school rank than CC. That’s why we blow CC kids outta the water when it comes to tests. SEAS has far less affirmative action and the admissions cares more about what you know rather than what your skin color is or that you started the gay straight alliance at your school.
@GS Student “I only know 1 smart GS student from my 3 years here.”
Gosh, that’s some powerful anecdotal evidence. You’re right to condemn us all, though–because who among us non CC/SEAS students hasn’t filmed an orgy in Butler? And surely no CC or SEAS student has never done anything embarrassing?
I know you probably don’t care to listen to a dumb guy like me. (I spent my “traditional” university time in the Marine Corps so I guess I’m not up to your caliber.) But maybe you should take a look at this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbia_University_School_of_General_Studies#Notable_alumni_and_attendees
And this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Barnard_College_people
And this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_Theological_Seminary_of_America#Notable_alumni
Surely you’ll find at least another one or two people there who even a scholar such as yourself would deem “smart.”
@Anonymous thanks for your service

@Anon Hoorah! Do what you feel, interesting and thought-provoking video!
@Proud Student Glad to see we’re finally being recognized for our talents!

Stay classy, Columbia. Never change. /sarcasm
@female student Quote: “The video addresses the gender issue around the school,” Ms. Young explained. “We chose to film this in Butler because there are all-male names written on the wall of the library. It is a politically strong place.” Sara Grace Powell, a senior at Barnard College, is also featured in the video.
You don’t earn respect this way, Miss. This is an insult to those women researchers who actually work hard in the library to prove that they are not mere sexual creatures but intelligent and respectable components of the society (and eventually get their names inscribed on Butler because they deserve it).
@honestly? Commanding young women on HOW they must earn respect is unfair and easily tends toward hypocrisy. These women have made art, are calling it art, and presenting it thusly; you research, call it research, and present it as such — there are different ways of gaining esteem as a woman, and just because you do not identify with that (whether it’s because you don’t “get it” or simply feel it’s invalid) does not allow you the claim that these women are somehow improperly going about gaining respect.
@female student 1. I didn’t tell them “HOW” to earn respect (and I don’t think I am in the position to say anything about that). I only said they DID not (at least not mine). The mixed response their art project has received seems to confirm with this: Their provocative artwork has drawn more attention to the “naked chicks in the library” aspect of it than the “challenging institutional discrimination against women” aspect of it.
2. “there are different ways of gaining esteem as a woman…” Okay. There are different ways of gaining respect. If you think getting naked in the library is very brave, that’s fine. But if their final aim is to make fundamental changes to the way men perceive women (i.e. to respect them as their equal), I don’t think posting a video like this does anything substantial. And yes, I still think their behavior in the library has damaged to the image (women scholars take work as seriously as men scholars do and are equally capable of excelling in academia) women researchers have been establishing and defending. Comparing these two kinds of women in the library, I hold far more respect for those women who are deciphering texts that are considered difficult by their counterparts than those who take off their clothes for the world to see (<– that is what, according to the very institution they want to challenge, women are supposed to do. How thought provoking is that?)
@Random Guy @female student:
Unrelated, but FYI: the names on the facade of Butler aren’t there necessarily because they “deserved” to be their, but rather because they were merely hand-picked by President Nicholas Murray Butler at the time. So I don’t know where you were going with that….
@female student I didn’t say people who own the names on Butler “deserved” to be there. And no, being hand picked by some president doesn’t imply that they don’t deserve to be there (at least they “deserve” to be there in a weak sense, i.e. being handed picked by an official, which is not necessarily more legitimate than other “deserve”).
I did intend to say that I hoped whoever (in this very particular case, “any woman”, but really the gender of that person is irrelevant) got their names inscribed on Butler deserved – made enough intellectual contribution to humanity – to be there, considering that Butler is a library. You can feel free to disagree with that. I am sorry that the message didn’t get across very clearly. I thought it was quite obvious that we wouldn’t re-inscribe Butler, at least not in 5 years. I was expecting my readers to read my earlier comment more loosely.
@Bahh All these comment board mole people are so full of hate and negativity!
Even though I thought the video was a little silly, I like it a lot more after reading these comments. It sucks that people have to carry so much hatefulness about such minor things, but I guess anything to distract from our own mortality. Right?
P-e-r-s-p-e-c-t-i-v-e.
@awful Who cares about the nudity — America is so incredibly fearful of female nudity it’s absurd, but that’s another discussion altogether. The dead bird and eggs everywhere is certainly an issue, because that’s totally vile. But, most importantly, this film is AWFUL.
Furthermore, why choose to shoot at Columbia if you’re a Barnard student? Shoot it at Barnard ffs. This is why Columbia students, female and male alike, resent Barnard students. Because they come all up into our libraries, throwing dead animals and syrup around like they own the place.
Do I think the rape culture at Columbia needs to change? Absolutely. Will this do it? Absolutely not. Because it’s a terrible film. Poorly shot, poorly executed, poorly edited. Being stuck at the library at some ungodly hour is depressing enough, this just makes it worse.
Better stick to your “modeling” ladies, looks like you’re much more successful at that.
Signed,
A female Columbia student
@BC Pride Coco is a Columbia student. Stop with the Barnard hate.
Also, I actually thought this was great. You go, Coco!
@m5300 Haha this is pretty cool.Ppl are weirdly angry that you got naked and it wasn’t sexy…
props for pulling this off in butler.
@Anonymous this is the realest comment in this whole thread
@wtf this is a pathetic cry for attention by a bunch of skinny white girls in need of a reason to take their clothes off. Seriously, the “message” was never conveyed. You played right into the fetishization of women. Read a fucking book before showing your tits in our library.
Even if they don’t get in trouble for the disgusting content of this, filming and pictures are strictly prohibited in Butler, and I hope you get expelled on a technicality if nothing else.
@cc 16 can we stop it with the whole skinny as a negative descriptor thing?
@Anony I think this is applicable.

@jj @Credits….:
well 40000 views on gawker so you may be wrong about this one son
@Anonymous almost as white as the varsity show
@Frat Daddy TSM.
@Mindyer Fuckingbusiness can y’all simmer down don’t you have econ homework to do or something
@y'all are fucking prudes. these girls are way cooler/smarter/more creative/fearless than you can ever be, so gtfo. smh sounding like a bunch of grannies. remember when columbia used to be cool?? damn
@Some Dude Cool. Then you won’t mind if guys start jerking off in the library, right? Is it safe to assume it won’t make you uncomfortable at all because you’re not a prude? And no part of you will feel that–while there’s nothing inherently wrong with the act–that maybe (just maybe) there are more appropriate places to do it?
Between your lack of ability to understand a nuanced opinion, your horrible text-speak, and your use of “ya’ll,” I really hope your comment isn’t an accurate portrayal of your intellect. And if it is, I hope you’re not actually a student here.
@Anonymous Boom.
@Let's be honest.... I’m pretty sure that dudes already jack off in the library.
It just hasn’t been filmed.
Yet.
(not a suggestion)
@republican A wave of prudishness strikes Columbia…
…and I solidly approve!
@Anonymous Leave it to barnyard.
@Im just a kid Am I the only one who didn’t hate this?
I mean yeah, its super fucking weird. But like, good for them.
I for one, will be studying more in Butler now. #thanksforsavingmyGPA
@CC13 I need an adult.
@lol ITT: girls get naked in butler, columbia kids worry they won’t be able to eat during all-nighters.
@WTF “DURR HURR THIS IS GOOD CUZ BOOBIES”
— You
@WTF Here’s my take on this:
When the product of “coeds strip down to their panties, smear chocolate syrup and eggs on each other, make out, and spank each other” didn’t turn out to be as hot as they expected, they added the creepy music and rebranded their failed porn as “art.”
At any rate, I can expect my friends and family to start up with more “So this is the Ivy League, huh?” comments. And I think we can all say goodbye to our traditions of buying coffee and a pastry at Blue Java and sneaking them into computer labs and reading rooms for study sessions. That’s a shame; judging by the girls in this video, some students here could use the extra calories.
@Anonymous Eh, they’re all wearing slightly over-sized granny panties. Seems like they went out of their way to be not super sexy.
@Roger Ebert Your movie sucks.
@Anonymous http://www.ivygateblog.com/2014/02/naked-girls-in-the-columbia-library/
@CC '13 Number one: of course white people are behind this. Only white people would endorse this.
Number two: this is not what pledging looks like at all. There’s far less tits.
@Anonymous @CC ’13: lol@playing the race card. very nice, well played.
(that was sarcasm)
@Anonymous lol@playing the race card. very nice, well played.
(that was sarcasm)
@really? I know what you’re getting at, but tbh this is just a little mean.
@ugh “The New York-born, Marseilles-raised model”….
@Britta Perry This video of stick-thin, model-looking, Ivy League white girls is really making a powerful statement about the hardship that comes from discrimination!
@Anonymous Blame whites for all racism and discrimination and then blame whites for exposing and responding to discrimination.
Oh, and wake the fuck up.. people of color are not the only ones that face discrimination. It’s not your G-d given right to victimize yourself and discriminate against those that want to expose the issue because they’re Caucasian.
@Anonymous yeah i’m not sure where the assumption that they didn’t clean it up is coming from. is it because they didn’t film the clean up?
also, this is dope. but i’m not really sure they really accomplished anything with it. its basically just ivyporn. they need to be more specific with their exploration of the “rituals of American Ivy League secret societies” if they want to be taken seriously. Whatever goal they had in making this is just completely secondary to the (very appealing, nonetheless — blondie at the end, jesus them be some nice teets) nudity.
I approve wholeheartedly of nudity in butler. But I give the film a C for its lack of focus and unclear intent. They could have accomplished pretty much the same thing by setting something on redtube to scary music.
@jj I saw them there and also them cleaning up after themselves immediately and vigorously
@eh I’m all for it. Keep Columbia/Barnard weird. I fucking love that this never would have happened at Harvard. To the commenter asking us to ‘Imagine all the smart, bright, talented Asian nerds Columbia rejected to get these vile creatures’ – I’m imagining, and I like how we are a lot better. Bless you kids who didn’t give a damn that this would show up on a google search by a potential employer. Thanks for keeping us amused. Diversity in everything.
(this assuming they cleaned up)
@Anonymous Why are people calling for their expulsion? Chad Washington and his cronies weren’t expelled. The alleged rapists from the sexual assault articles weren’t expelled. But when a group of women show their god-given breasts it suddenly “reflects badly” on the school? As if that was even some sort of crime.
@Anonymous yeah it is a crime.
and they should all be expelled, that whole lot you mentioned, and these girls.
@Anonymous yeah I like how bwog commenters are quick to assume false accusation on rape cases but public nudity is grounds for immediate expulsion
@Anonymous Chad Washington wasn’t expelled because he was found not guilty. Therefore the school has no grounds for expulsion.
@Anonymous @Anonymous: Don’t you remember that collection of homophobic, racist, sexist and antisemitic tweets from the Columbia football team? Those were way more offensive and hurtful than this video.
@The difference Freedom of speech is a right, public nudity is not
@Jean Jacques Rousseau But what about if I want to live in a state of nature, which is arguably better than society?
@Chris McCandless @The difference: Don’t listen to Rousseau! Nature is overrated. Trust me!
@Anonymous So wait, the logic here is that just because Columbia hasn’t addressed other serious issues properly they also shouldn’t address this one? That’s ridiculous.
I know this is a charged subject, and by all accounts the administration has fucked up, but I think a lot of people fail to appreciate how difficult sexual assault and rape cases are to investigate and punish. For understandable reasons victims don’t always cooperate and can inadvertently compromise a case by destroying evidence and delayed reporting. The victims have rights, but so do those accused. A he-said she-said trial can’t establish guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Just because it’s an emotionally charged subject doesn’t mean the burden of proof is lowered- that’s not how the system works. We should all be outraged by sexual assault and condemn the administration in the strongest terms when they drop the ball, but let’s be reasonable about the difficulties the administration faces in addressing alleged cases.
In closing though, dafuq does any of this have to do with some girls dragging their friend down the hallways of butler, wandering naked, bringing a dead animal inside, and then posting it online?
@wtf NSFW blog by one of the aforementioned columbia students, actually an “alt-porn” model with hundreds of nude selfies and no ivy league degree
http://artwerk6666.tumblr.com
@it would have been a great film if they took off all their clothes and didn’t ruin butler with all that messy nonsense
@Credits.... The names are:
Carly Mark
Alexandra Marzella
Sara Grace Powell (sgp2118)
Coco Young
Karley Sciortino
SGP seems to be the name listed that generates a uni. Someone get the other names and send this out to the public affairs office ASAP.
My message to you girls: nobody can hear you, nobody cares about this, nothing will come of this.
@The ironing is delicious ‘Nobody cares…except me, who bothered to look up everyone’s unis’
@Anonymous I hope the admissions office sees this and realizes what kind of riff-raff they admit, desecrating the school and making the poor cleaning staff fix their mess. Imagine all the smart, bright, talented Asian nerds Columbia rejected to get these vile creatures. Seriously, these people don’t deserve to be educated at Barnard or Columbia.
@Anonymous the administration harbors rapists. there are much worse ‘riff-raff’ here than these chicks
@Anonymous you’re missing the point. also, the administration doesn’t harbor rapists, you radical kunt.
@wow she's real Sara Grace Powell
Title: Student
Department: ArtHistory(VisArts), Barnard College
@Anonymous #ivyleague? Barnard is not an ivy school…
@Anonymous @Anonymous: ^
@sigh The primary person behind this is/was a GS student. GS is indisputably part of CU and the Ivy League, no?
@HOPE THEY ALL GOT SAMONELLA That and more.
@WIPE IT UP, or else LICK IT CLEAN. Fucking Wrong, and Unfair to the Cleaning Crew I have to say that it’ll be fucking wrong for these skinny bitches to not clean up after themselves after making this mess of egg, milk and vaginal mucus.
Outrageous for artistic merit. FINE.
Making the custodian clean this? NOT.
@Why make this assumption? How do you know they didn’t clean it up? I know sarah and she’s incredibly respectful.
@Further proof See the end of the third paragraph here, in which they interviewed the people involved. No need to assume the worst…
http://www.ivygateblog.com/2014/02/naked-girls-in-the-columbia-library/
@Anonymous Am I the only one that closed the video halfway through in anger over the mess they made? I am sure as shit they weren’t the one’s cleaning that all up. Some poor custodians must have spent a good part of their shift cleaning that shit.
@WIPE IT UP, or else LICK IT CLEAN. Fucking Wrong, and Unfair to the Cleaning Crew OMG. Right????? This is ridiculous. Someone should start a strike.
@Aid I ran into these girls right after they finished filming this. When I gave them a weird look because they were dressed strangely, one of them said “We’re making a film. Do you want to be in it?” I’m really not sure if I should have said yes or no now…
@Aid Alright I just thought about this for a while and I definitely should have said yes.
@Annoyed Probably not. When the admins in low find out about this everyone in that video is probably finished. People who work for Columbia read bwog and this is definitely going to be seen. This reflects horribly on Columbia and is going to be a huge embarrassment if this gets picked up as a story of interest outside of the university. This video is probably going to come back to screw up everyone else. Stricter enforcement of what comes into butler, sweeps of the building by public safety, way more scrutiny, etc. This film was a real idiot move.
@THANKS TO THESE SLUTS WITH AN ARTSY INITIATIVE This is jading.
@Things to consider... @Annoyed: Trust me, any embarrassment these ladies may be perpetrating against the university (if at all) is NOTHING compared to the embarrassment that the administration of Columbia University has brought upon itself by preferring to sweep rape under the rug than to have adults (who may also happen to be students) be brought to justice. A rapist is a rapist, and should be brought to justice, regardless of how much money mommy & daddy may have, regardless of whether or not they attend an Ivy League, that’s all secondary. The ladies in this video may have made a little mess, but they have not intentionally and maliciously hurt anyone. They are naked, get over it. How about getting upset about real issues??
@Britta Perry I’m going to go throw a rock through a window, and if anyone objects, I’ll scream “Rape is worse!”
@Anonymous Here’s the thing, Columbia University administrators are not the NYPD. If a criminal investigation doesn’t result in charges being brought or a conviction of the accused then what grounds are there for expulsion?
Furthermore, bringing rapists to justice isn’t what a university administrator was hired to do. Inspector gadget isn’t on prezbo’s staff. If a victim reports to the school but refuses to cooperate with a police investigation then there’s only so much the school is able to do. Columbia doesn’t have the same authority to carry out inquiries as the police and to do so puts them at risk of civil suits for harassment by the accused.
The best thing that we can do to address sexual assault is education beforehand, measures to prevent it, and encourage victims to immediately seek treatment and cooperate with detectives.
@Inspector Gadget is not a rape investigator, FYI. He fights criminals with technologically advanced claws.
@I'm confused I don’t get it

@Anonymous Coco is (was?) a GS student.
@Equitable Spaces Well, worry not. If you care enough to do a thorough check of the internet, you just might find that alumni of all schools may have appeared in some weird pornographic shit. Unintentionally, or intentionally. Not just GS.

@Anonymous You really have no idea how much trouble your friend is about to get into, do you?
@Anonymous For what, making a mess?
@Anonymous why do these people exist? I REALLY hope these girls cleaned up.
@Anonymous imagine if a bunch of guys did this. you hypocritical “liberals” would all scream rape culture and would denounce their actions. but somehow it’s empowering if girls spank each other and ritually sacrifice a goat in the bathroom of butler
