16 CommentsRemember back in August when we heard that a potential fall Bacchanal Concert had been cancelled by the administration? The statement made by the undergraduate deans about the cancellation of the Fall Bacchanal Concert (or Facchanal, as we’re calling it) claimed that “this concert was never officially scheduled or approved.” However, a screenshot circulating on Facebook today appears to show that the Fall Bacchanal had indeed been scheduled in Columbia’s Event Management system.
What will we be missing? Bwog heard a very reputable rumor that Jhene Aiko and Ryan Hemsworth were the potential headliners. Then again, Bwog also heard a rumor that it was going to be Sam Smith. Either way, September 14th will now be a Sunday filled with regret and sadness.

@Anonymous I don’t know the full story, but you can get an advisor’s initial sign off for booking the space without it being an approved event. That’s what event reviews are for. I know of a couple events that were either rescheduled or changed drastically because of time constraints/space constraints/etc.

The comments unanimously agreed with the author. What can you expect? Of course Bacchanal is going to get cancelled
