Basketball Mania

Columbia, it’s time to get manic. Tonight is your annual chance to express the basketball-related excitement we know you’ve been bottling up all year. That’s right — it’s time for Basketball Mania, an event which one misguided Bwogger describes as “second only to Bacchanal.”

Doors open at 8:15 in Levien Gym, but the Mania itself will run from 9:00 to 10:00 pm. What would motivate you to arrive 45 minutes early? School spirit and good seats  Free t-shirts for the first 100 students! If past events are anything to go by, you might expect student spirit groups, dance teams, as well as speeches and cheers from coaches.We hear basketball could also be making an appearance.

The theme this year is SLAM JAM. So be prepared and/or be afraid.
