This past weekend marked the 25th anniversary of the Pale Blue Dot photo taken by Voyager One. The image, which depicts Earth from billions of miles away, is an integral component of the “family portrait” that captured multiple planets in the solar system. (CBS)

Residents of a small town in Russia became alarmed when baby-blue-colored snow was found covering the ground. Although the color was initially feared to be a long-term result of the meteor that hit the town exactly one year ago, it was soon discovered that the blue hue was due to a food-coloring leak that occurred at a local easter egg manufacturing factory. Both Kanye and Kim snapped pics of themselves rockin blue contact lenses during the “SNL 40” premiere on Sunday night.  The lenses were worn during Kanye’s performance, and may have been added to his appearance in order to mimic the look of wolves… fitting, since Kanye performed his newly released song entitled “Wolves” alongside Sia and Vic Mensa on-air.
