Happening in the US: Rose Marie Bentley died at the age of 99 with all of her internal organs on the wrong side of her body beside her heart. This health condition, known as situs inversus with levocardia, only occurs once in every 22,000 births. Neither Bentley nor her family knew about her condition until after her death. (NBC News)

Happening in NYC: There is reportedly a measles outbreak covering four Brooklyn zip codes. Mayor Bill de Blasio declared a public health emergency and is now looking to prevent the spread of disease through mandatory vaccinations. (NPR)
