Happening in the US: In light of the recent diagnoses of illness as a result of flavored e-cigarettes, politicians across the country have rushed to take action. Happening in NYC: Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Ric Ocasek, lead singer of the rock band “The Cars,” died yesterday in New York at age 75. Hits from the iconic band included “Good Times Roll” and “Just What I Needed.” After the band broke up in the 1980s, Ocasek went on to have a career in music production (NBC4).
