Good morning! The swarms of upperclassmen returning to campus can only mean one thing; the end is upon us. Make the most of your last few days before classes with Bwog.

Today’s Highlights

  • If you didn’t get a chance to head out on any neighborhood tours yesterday, head on out today. There’s a trip to the Met, Queen, East Village Eateries, The Highline and more!
  • Mixers! In Lerner throughout the afternoon, get to know people who share in your identity or are proud to call themselves allies. Today, you can meet up with students that are FGLI, Latinx, Arab and Middle Eastern, of mixed heritage, or who are members of the LGBTQ community.
  • At 8 PM in Lerner’s Roone Arledge Auditorium, some of Columbia’s best and brightest performing groups will be putting on a showcase. Whether you’re interested in getting involved in performing arts on campus or are just looking for a chill night

One Thing to do Before Graduating: Go to a Columbia sporting event! Sure, Columbia isn’t a sports school but you can get into the games for free and they can be really wonderful bonding experiences. And don’t feel like you need to make the trek up to Baker Field for homecoming; plenty of teams play on campus in Dodge. (I personally recommend going to a women’s volleyball game!)

From the Archives: Are you an English major that’s always wondered what it would be like to do math someday? Or a STEM major who’s curious about what kind of bullshit actually occurs in a humanities seminar? In the halcyon days of 2012, we swapped two Bwoggers (one English major and one comp sci major) for a day to find out.
