With Housing Selection in full swing, Nino wants to remind you to avoid McBain at all costs.

Name, School, Major, Hometown:
Nino Dickersin, Columbia College, Economics-Political Science, Brooklyn

Claim to fame:
Was found. Friends with Dory.

Where are you going?
Just across Amsterdam to the Law School.

What are 3 things you learned at Columbia and would like to share with the Class of 2023?

  1. The small rooms in 303A are “reserved,” but no one will ever bother you if you sit there, and they’re the quietest studying spot in Butler.
  2. Take some classes outside your major and the Core. The variety is critical to keeping college exciting, and the P/F option can make it less stressful.
  3. It’s never too late to decide your career path, and there’s no rush to figure it out. Explore every option that you’re interested in until you find something perfect for you.

“Back in my day…”
The top frats threw parties. Now they have philanthropy fundraisers. PC has come a long way.

Favorite Columbia controversy?
Where’s my Coronavirus tuition refund?

What was your favorite class at Columbia?
“International Law” with Tonya Putnam. The moot court was an incredible experience that is unparalleled at Columbia. Every undergrad considering law school has to take this class.

Would you rather give up oral sex or cheese?
Neither.

Whom would you like to thank?
Youngweon for pressuring the Bwog staff into letting me write one of these.

One thing to do before graduating:
Complete all your major and Core course requirements.

Any regrets?
Living in McBain.
