Double the science major, twice the wisdom!

Name, School, Major, Hometown:
Jeanne, BC, Computer Science & Political Science, NYC

Claim to fame:
I took Bwog’s site from breaking every day to only breaking like… once a month.

Where are you going?
To 1020 as soon as I can.

What are 3 things you learned at Columbia and would like to share with the Class of 2024?

  1. You don’t need to be anything more than who you are.
  2. Waking up at 8 am for Bacchanal isn’t worth it.
  3. No one else knows what they’re doing either!

“Back in my day…”
Diana barely took swipes, Obama was president, and Barnard’s campus was like 80% under construction.

Favorite Columbia controversy?
I still don’t know who the fuck shit in my (suite’s) showers. Twice.

What was your favorite class at Columbia?
Advanced Programming. I know, I’m the worst. But no other class taught me not just how things work, but why they work the way they do.

Would you rather give up oral sex or cheese?
Cheese. Cheeeeeeese.

Whom would you like to thank?
Lyndsey, Eve, Nina, Maysin, the people at Apple Tree, the beer selection at Central Market, and JJ’s gummy bears. Also, Diego, the CG desk attendant.

One thing to do before graduating:
Go to something on campus (yes, I’m setting the bar that low). Make memories here. It’s easy to get distracted by the city, but you’re only here for a little while. Make the most of it

Any regrets?
Yes. Would I change anything? Probably not.
