It took too long, it took too long, for you to finish this semester.

Bwogline: President Donald Trump has called upon Congress to raise the amount on the stimulus check in the COVID-19 Relief Package from $600 to $2,000. He stated that he would not veto the bill but was not happy with the low amount that would be given to Americans in conjunction with the many unnecessary items listed (CNN).

Study Tip: Stand up at every hour and do something that doesn’t involve looking at a screen. Drink some water. Do a few jumping jacks. Stand up and stretch your fingertips as high as possible. Grab a snack. This little reset will help you stay more alert and make sure that you’re taking care of yourself during a study session.

Music of the Day: The entire “Woodstock” album by Portugal. The Man. This is undoubtedly my favorite album I’ve listened to this year, even if it was made in 2017. Songs that I love include Easy Tiger, Live in the Moment, and Keep On.

Procrastination Tip: Watch the first and last episode of a show that you know you will never get through. Try and figure out what happened in between. Make it a game and do it over Netflix party with some friends! Bonus points if it was something that was created before 2010. Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, Grey’s Anatomy, etc. are all amazing options for this!

Overseen/Overheard: Aly & AJ are coming out with a new and explicit version of “Potential Breakup Song” on December 29 and released a teaser?! This is exactly what I never knew I needed to end the year.
