Music and Visual Art

  • On September 18th, Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra will give a virtual performance as part of the ongoing Live from Columbia virtual concert series. 
  • Ongoing through October 1: the LeRoy Neiman at 100 celebration, an exhibition of highlights from the artist’s career in honor of his centenary. Open to members of the CU community Monday-Friday 9-5 at the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies.

Lectures, Readings, and Talks

  • At 7:30 on September 22, author Emily Barnard will feature in the latest installment of the Nonfiction Dialogues at the School of the Arts, where Writing Program Chair Liz Harris interviews nonfiction authors about their work. 
  • Professor of English Farah Jasmine Griffin will discuss her latest book, Read Until You Understand: The Profound Wisdom of Black Life and Literature, in conversation with Daphne Brooks and Imani Owens.
