Twenty-four Columbia College seniors were chosen for Phi Beta Kappa initiation, one of the oldest, most selective academic honor societies.

On December 1, Columbia College released the names of the 24 seniors selected for Phi Beta Kappa initiation this fall.

Every year, 10% of the Columbia College graduating class is elected into Phi Beta Kappa, America’s most prestigious academic honor society. In the fall, 2% (Junior Phi Beta Kappa) are elected to membership, with 8% elected in the spring. These students are selected based on the breadth, depth, and rigor of their academic programs, as well as faculty recommendations.
