Just stop your crying, it’s a sign of the times. Welcome to the final show, seniors. Bwog hopes you have advice to give.
The Oscars have passed and housing selection is over. Bacchanal drew hordes of Columbia students to the lawns and miscellaneous house parties, then dumped us all in bed with horrible hangovers and colds. Your professors, who’ve just finished an assigning you midterm projects, papers, and exams, are now saddling you with final projects, papers, and exams. Pollen has burst forth from every flowering plant in the vicinity. Each assignment you do starts to be worth more and more of your final grade. You begin to run into prospective student tours on your walks to class, in the library, outside of your dorm. Every day, the threat of rain looms. Coachella is only a few weeks away. It’s a fight to the death for a good seat in Milstein or Butler. You have to start thinking about what you’re going to do for the summer and when to buy moving boxes.
These are the stalwart signs of the end of a school year. Thus, it’s officially the time we must say goodbye to our graduating seniors.
This is where Bwog comes in.
As our seniors move on to better and brighter things, we want to know everything that made their college experiences wild—in the best and worst ways. All we ask is that they impart a few morsels of wisdom onto the undergraduates following in their footsteps.
So, here’s the official ask: nominate a graduating senior for a Bwog Senior Wisdom! They can be a senior who helped you decide on your major in the middle of a lecture last fall or the president of a student organization who invited you out for coffee. Maybe your English class has a resident “senior cool girl.” Maybe you had a magical, all-knowing senior walk you home from a frat party. However you’ve come to know this soon-to-be-graduate and how incredible they are, it doesn’t matter. We want to hear from any of Columbia’s beloved graduates and you get to nominate them!
To nominate an extraordinary senior for a Senior Wisdom, please fill out this anonymous Google Form or email us at editors@bwog.com with “Senior Wisdom Nomination” in the subject line. All nominations must include your nominee’s name, UNI, undergraduate college, and the reason(s) why they should get a Senior Wisdom (check out the Senior Wisdom archives for inspiration). We will only accept Senior Wisdoms from students graduating this semester, so be sure to nominate seniors graduating in Spring 2022!
Nominations are due on Sunday, April 17 at 11:59 pm EST.

Update made on Monday, April 18 at 1:25 pm:
Did you forget to nominate an absolutely incredible senior? No worries! We’re extending the deadline for Senior Wisdom nominations to Friday, April 22 at 11:59 pm EST.
