Happening in the World: The premier of the British Virgin Islands, Andrew Fahie, was arrested in Miami for alleged drug smuggling and money laundering. According to charges filed in the US, Fahie agreed to a $700,000 payment to allow smugglers to use British Virgin Island ports as part of their operation. (BBC)

Happening in the US: 15 people were injured in Atlanta after the pedal bar they were riding on overturned on Saturday. Officials say two of the people on the pedal bar are in serious condition. (NBC)

Happening in NYC: A new fleet of electric Citi Bikes will arrive in docking stations around the city next week. The updated bikes will be heavier, faster, and have twice the battery life of their predecessors. (Gothamist)

Happening in Our Community: Make sure to register for Columbia’s Virtual Naloxone Training, running from 12 to 1 pm tomorrow. Not only will participants gain skills that could save the life of someone who is overdosing, but they will also receive a free Naloxone kit following completion of the training.
