Bwog is in bed and listening to Lady Gaga.

Bwogline: New York City transit officials defended their subway safety strategy in a City Council meeting Monday evening, despite criticism from Council members on the details of their plans and use of taxpayer dollars. Transit officials discussed the installation of surveillance cameras on trains, deploying more police officers, hiring private security guards, and pairing police with clinicians and social workers. This follows new guidance from Mayor Eric Adams that allows police to involuntarily remove houseless people from the streets if they are believed to be unable to meet their “basic needs” for survival. Study Tip of the Day: Make a daily calendar of what you have to do the rest of the week, write it out in pretty colors, and aim to finish at least one big assignment every two days. Depending on how much work you have to do, this will work because you’re creating scary deadlines for yourself.

Music of the Day: “Government Hooker” by Lady Gaga. To pump you up as you walk to the library.

Procrastination Tip: Try to book a study room at Teacher’s College, realize that they are for Teacher’s College students and staff only, then stay in bed.

Overseen/Overheard: “Baby comes through the ears.” My Art History professor, referring to the Enunciation.
