With finals right around the corner/here/happening, everyone is officially on the grind. Suddenly your coveted Avery seat is gone and every room in Butler seems to be full. Where does one go to find a simple chair and desk to write that 10-page PoliSci final and study for the last Orgo exam? Here’s Bwog’s list of go-to study spots for finals season.
Library Spaces
- Law Library (lie and say you need a book they have there)
- Lehman library is so underrated!
- Milstein 4th floor (must get there before 10 am)
- Butler 4th floor because there are always seats.
- NoCo! Usually not too packed.
Cafes
- Cafe Wallabout (x3).
- Dodge Hall/Pulitzer Joe’s Coffees. Sometimes the noise is comforting.
- Cafe East after hours.
Classrooms
- Empty Pupin classrooms for a scary-but-focused vibe.
- An empty Kent seminar classroom.
- HAMILTON CLASSROOMS MY BELOVED! (chalkboard studying is so sexy)
Lounges
- Barnard first-years, take advantage of the Brooks lounge.
- Furnald lounge if you pretend to be a Furnald resident (it works).
- Lerner piano lounges.
- Any and all residence hall lounges.
- The Kraft Center lounge.
Other
- Diana 3 red carrels.
- Hear me out, Schermerhorn Extension.
- Math Stacks for the most deafening silence you can ever imagine.
