Happening in the World: The footprint of a giant carnivorous dinosaur was found on the Yorkshire coast of the United Kingdom. The footprint, discovered by archaeologist Marie Woods, measures nearly a meter long and is estimated to be 166 million years old. This discovery provides further evidence for the existence of giant meat-eating dinosaurs in this area during the Jurassic period. (CNN)

Happening in the US: A shooting Wednesday night at Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texas has left one dead and three injured. One suspect is in custody, but the police believe there may still be another suspect, yet to be caught. Cielo Vista Mall is immediately adjacent to the Walmart where a 2019 shooting left 23 dead and two dozen injured. (CNN)
