Happy FDOC Barnumbia! It’s sunny, there was ice cream, and people shopped up to six classes. How exhausting! It has some bwoggers reflecting on their summer months and what we did then!
Bwog travelled!
- Unexpectedly moved back to my childhood home in Pasadena, CA, where we lived until I was 12
- Went to Paris
- Went to Lake Tahoe for the first time back in May
- Went to a cat cafe
- Visited my Sister in DC
- Engaged in an inter-borough relationship
- Went to Armenia
- Realized I wanted to live there eventually!
- Visited Colorado for the first time in the summer and Chicago for the first time since high school!
- Moved from 121 (where I was living over the summer) to the quad
- …only to move back to 121 a week later because I’m living there for the school year
Bwog experienced personal growth!
- Got a boyfriend
- Prepared to study abroad
- Still have yet to get my UK visa AND passport back in the mail from the visa approval people

- Still have yet to get my UK visa AND passport back in the mail from the visa approval people

Bwog was reflective!
- Recovered from a horrible study-abroad experience
- Lived vicariously through the freshmen experiencing NSOP as a senior OL who had to do it online
- Bought a new emotional support water bottle
- Magic eraser-ed my white sneakers for the first day of school (this felt very middle school throwback)
- Stressed out to an incredible degree about my fall schedule
- Blobbed out for a little bit
- Had the worst sleep schedule of my LIFE
Bwog was a cog in the capitalistic machine from which there is no escape except a complete demolition of the system or acceptance of the awful, awful amorality!
- Did online research through a university psych department which I mostly completed while watching my 10-year-old brother play Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach in our basement
- Worked 50-hour weeks remotely and my eyes constantly felt like they were about to fall out from all the computer time
- Cat-sitted for a very sweet but very shy cat named Snowy
- Got hired to make Canva IG graphics for an author to promote her new book
- Interned at a children’s publishing company
- Made a dent in my Goodreads reading challenge with all of the children’s books
- Interned for a literary agency and also for a magazine
- Spent many hours in a much too hot greenhouse
- Interned my heart out
- Grinded out lab research (goodbye cancer!!!)
Bwog had some fun!
