Music, wine, arts, and love.

Bwog was devoted  (at least mentally) to Halloween:

  • Planned a new halloween costume half successfully 
  • Tried to plan halloween costumes, failed
  • Created halloweekend plans surprisingly successfully
  • Didn’t go to the halloween dog parade and regretted it. on the bucket list for next year. 

Bwog had fun hanging out: 

  • Saw Twelfth Night!! 
  • Saw Twelfth Night, considered the ropes
  • Saw Twelfth Night and i’m going to review it for bwog :)
  • Saw dicks the musical… definitely a movie
  • Saw a high school crush perform at Postcrypt, was normal about it tho 
  • Saw a Henry VIII statue and a Henry VIII painting
  • Spent the most time in hungarian in one sitting than I ever have
  • So much family time! aunt and uncle came to visit and we saw Kimberly Akimbo, my mom came down as well!
  • Went to a Columbia women’s soccer game! we smoked Yale!
  • Went to sleepy hollow! 
  • Went to Postscrypt for the first time
  • Went to the strangest concert I’ve ever been to where everyone, including the artist, was in socks and then after the concert there was a sharing circle??
  • Went to the whitney at its 10pm pay-what-you-want friday hours 
  • Watched the Great British Bake-Off with some Brits
  • Tried to go roller skating, went from 140th to clark st but ended up getting hot chocolate in dumbo instead

Bwog reconciled with autumn:

  • Enjoyed wearing all my scarves again
  • Appreciated the weather through many night walks
  • Started actively listening to christmas music the minute it dropped to 50 degrees… i know it’s october i just do not care.
  • Suffered through two days of rain and then got one day of absolutely jaw-droppingly gorgeous crisp clear sunny October weather
  • Got the winter coat out for the first time 

Bwog colonized Henrietta:

  • Unsuccessfully attempted to rebound at Henrietta’s
  • Went to Henrietta’s and saw soooo many bwoggers <3
  • Went to Henrietta’s for the first time in a year and a half, saw two of my three peer mentees there, also saw a couple from my high school that’s been together six years 
  • Saw everyone and their mom at henrietta’s

Bwog New Yorkered:

  • Got stuck on a broken down metro north train for 2 hrs
  • Made a mental note to go see model sailboat racing in Central Park one of these days

Bwog was tipsy… and then inebriated:

  • Enjoyed my classic “one beer at the Heights on a Saturday night” routine 
  • Got way too drunk on a single frozen marg at the Heights 

Bwog gluttoned:

  • Had NY pizza at 2am twice 
  • Had a very nice Nutella and apple crepe
  • Had two fancy brunches
  • Had delicious ramen
  • Got amazing pho 
  • Had delicious ramen
  • Made delicious honey chicken with Emma
  • Made amazing honey glazed chicken
  • Ate a phenomenal chocolate chip cookie
  • Went to a pumpkin patch and ate apple cider donuts
  • Pet the great pyrenees that guard the pumpkin patch
