My mother, my country—do not abandon me.

As young cauliflowerians, we are raised to honor our country, to revere Her as if She was our own mother. Our homeland, the Diana Center Cafe Pizza Oven, has been most bountiful to us. We cling to Her bosom, we suckle Her milk. She provides for us, shelters us under Her sturdy wings. Our feeble bodies cannot begin to fathom how to repay Her. We can only attempt to show our gratitude, to make known just how much She means to us. So let us take this opportunity to reflect on our admiration, to sing the songs of our country.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Republic of the United States of Diana Cauliflower Pizza

I pledge allegiance to the Flag

of the United States of Diana Cauliflower Pizza,

and to the Diana Center Cafe for which it stands,

one Nation under brick oven, indivisible,

with joy and satiation for all.

The Oven-Baked Pizza

O say can you see by the fluorescent light

What so proudly we baked at the ember’s last gleaming

Whose broad cheese and bright sauce through the perilous flame

O’er the pizza line we watched, were so gallantly baking?

And the cauliflower crust, the love bursting in air

Gave proof through the night that our hope was still there

O say does that oven-baked pizza yet bake

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Diana Cauliflower Pizza the Beautiful

O beautiful for spacious sauce,

For amber waves of grain,

For mozzarella majesties

Above the leavened plain!

Diana! Diana!

God shed His grace on thee

And crown thy crust with parmesan

From mouth to shining mouth!

My Country, Cauliflower

My country, cauliflower

Sweet land of pizza crust

Of thee I sing

Land where my fathers died

Land of the student’s pride

From every dining hall

Let freedom ring.

Godspeed, patriot. Play ball.
