Many were forced to get off their bikes and push through the crowd. There was heavy police presence the entire way. (BBC)
Happening in the US: A worker at a research center in South Carolina left the monkey enclosure unlocked, which led to 43 escaped monkeys. The research center, Alpha Genesis, has recovered 25 monkeys so far that have all been in good health. Some of the monkeys have been spotted in the fences around the research center, as well as in the woods nearby. The animals pose little threat to humans, as they are unlikely to be aggressive and are too young to carry disease. (NY Times)
