Bwog took full advantage of the four-day break!
Bwog did their civic duty (and tried to keep calm).
- Was anxious about the status of my mail-in ballot until I remembered I could check online. It got counted!
- Voted early on Halloween and got a themed sticker. Immediately put it on my wall.
- Stressed about the election.
- Nervously watched the election.
- Stared in disbelief at CNN polls—and watched West Wing to cope.
- Had an election watch party with wine, pizza, and pilaf last night… didn’t go so well, as you might imagine.
Bwog connected with family, friends, nature, and more!
- Went to my hometown farmers market with my brother and felt healed.
- Went on a beautiful fall three-day excursion to a lovely old home with four of my friends and my boyfriend.
- Went home and enjoyed Connecticut’s gorgeous fall foliage!
- Went back to North Georgia—and visited my old high school.
Bwog did cool things!
- Ran the New York City marathon.
- Went into a casino and played some arcade games.
- Went to Boston for a dance competition!
- Went to a bookstore (The Ripped Bodice) and a cookie bakery (Chip City) in Brooklyn.
Bwog got some work done. (Sort of.)
- Worked on homework and grad school applications.
- Read for fun! Ignored my readings for school!
- Spent most of that time doing work! Joy!
- Realized how much work I have to do.
- Binged a whole lot of Suits, then faced all the readings I was ignoring.
Bwog treated themselves to sleep, snacks, and sopranos.
- Got eight hours of sleep on like three different nights!
- Slept for fourteen hours the night after the dance competition.
- Spent a whole day cooking and baking.
- Had a biscuit for breakfast (God, I miss them).
- Got Girl Scout cookies!!
- Watched The Phantom of the Opera, and I still have all of the songs stuck in my head.
