Because who doesn’t need a curated soundtrack for every scenario?

It’s inevitable. It’s unavoidable. It’s beautiful. It’s a hassle. Whether we like it or not, winter has arrived and will be with us for a while. Though the festive holiday cheer has long passed, the cold, the snow, and the wind have settled in for an extended stay. In this climate, we need a soundtrack to match, one that mirrors the desire to stay cozy indoors with a hot drink and a movie, while also capturing the moments when we’re forced to brave the snowy streets of New York City. There’s a certain beauty in how the snow transforms the city, and we pause to admire it, snapping pictures in awe until our fingers start to freeze because we forgot our gloves in the warmth of our room, and the longing for home and heat creeps back in. It’s a cycle. And here’s a playlist to accompany it. I apologize in advance if it is all over the place, but that is how winter makes me feel.
